I have bought a villa on this site , I would just like to know if anyone has an opinion about this development ?

I have also purchased a property on this development and am still quite excited by it and beleive my original reasons for the purchase still hold good. Everything you read about the Government of Cape Verde and their international standing seems positive.

Inevitably there have been delays and some confusing information eminating from CVS, but if they can deliver the site by April 2010 as now promised with no drop in spec, then we will be in a better position than many other developments in CV. Still have no real idea of the Hotel Perola involvment and if they and CVS remain invested in the site for rentals, what this may mean & how it may affect us.

Other than my hope that the site will be completed as promised, I have concerns with other issues. I am a UK resident and hoped for direct flights. I also was counting on the Estrela Santiago resort forging ahead and Faldo designed golf course being open this year. All things that seemed more certain when I got the sales pitch.

Agree with what you say .
Direct flights are the biggest problem for me , until there are enough completed sites available I can't see this changing in the near future ( no expert on this though and I would love to be proved wrong).
