The debate or spat as you so nicely put it, is not about the clause, we owners know what it is and what we own, it is about Buckie's ridiculous claims.

You are right though, Buckie has made a claim regarding how that clause reads, it is not covered under the official secrets act, so why does he not just put it on here?

Why? Because he doesn't have the contract with that clause in it, he's just causing trouble.

When are other people involved, or not involved with VV going to realise that this is not a game I am playing, this is real people's lives and real people's money!

If i was so sure of a matter for the benefit of everyone i would do just that. i need to ask myself why?? As i have suggested in my opinion cold feet?

Hacker, I know Tecncil done a good job getting it finished,looks all down hill since that.
My fight with MRI. They lied about so many things to get me to buy.
It being told that I could get flights from Dublin to CV,that was never going to happen,how could I go there in summer holidays,2adults,2kids have to go to England first
Be looking at 2k,then all the bull about,all the rent ide be gettin to cover my mortgage/costs.
I could go on all day. It's not the way I'd do business,or have.

Ps,all I want is the money that Tecncil own,s me, not double,just whats in the contract.

I agree. However, i don't have any issues, i'm not owed any rent (off-set scheme), all my furniture has been installed, water (pressure good) and electricity connected. There has been some issues with the resort, but things have dramatically improved lately. I believe a lot of the credit for this has to be given to the committee of the VVLG.
I prefer going in the winter months when the flights aren't expensive. The Owners Group aren't very far away from making VilaVerde into the resort we want it to be. I wasn't sure at the time if i was making the right decision downsizing, i certainly know now though.
Hope you get something back from MRI, and i hope a miracle can happen where you and others manage to get your deposits back from Tecnicil.

Mac,

When i approached NDR about going for money back they didn't appear interested in taking my case on, they kind of kept on fobbing me off. I believe the reason for this was because they felt the risk was too high. I have to give them a lot of credit as one other law firm was prepared to milk me dry from the off, i won't say who on here.
The legal system does appear corrupt, this was always the fear.

Like Hacker I needed to make the decision for money back or complete. I opted to complete as I was afraid Tecnicil would go bust before any court hearing as the contract was so clear cut. I have just returned from VV this week and can say the place is looking good and things do appear to be moving forward. This is due to the terrific work being done by the VVLG.
I really hope those people who for what ever reason can not complete realise at least some compensation for their outlay and betrayal.

They might not be in such a big mess,with hundreds of buyers losing their lifes saving and so many like me having a massive mortgage ,hanging over My head,that I mighr never get paid of. Im glad some are happy with what they bought,I certainly was not.
