I've always said Villa Verde was too big for me, but saying that at those prices, the only thing that’s a big worry is the Resort Fees ! I can see them only ever increasing to pay the mountainous debt Tecnicil have accumulated over these past years, a lot of people don't see this, that is why around 80% of the resort fees Go Direct to Tecnicil to pay this debt !

Resort fees are mainly labours tasks around the resort, Sal is a very low paid country so why are the resort fees so high.

You could see this easily if Tecnicil give a proper break down of those fees, and not one that just groups items together, a summary !

Also Future on 24 has said he's happily accept (80K) for his 2 bed thats fully furnished too...

Your own site, I hear, is being used to direct abuse at Sambala owners, as you can no longer do so at them on the other forums. I'm not saying that you are wrong in what you say on any of the forums, but you need to keep doing it for some reason.

You now use this one to try to have a go at Vila Verde owners who have moved on. It has worked, as it has provoked a reaction from myself and others, but I will make this post and move on again.

There is nothing 'devastating' about the new Owners Site. A lot of hard work has gone into developing the site and it's membership, which I understand is in the 320 - 330 range. We have never had a thread that has caused cross words between any buyers, the reason is, we have no developers, or non buyers trying to disrupt what we aim to achieve. There are various threads, all which discuss matters, share information and resolve issues for buyers, from other genuine buyers, based on their real experiences. We also help each other out with sharing of apartments when other buyers need it.

On the subject of 'divisions' within the group. As said, we have 320 - 330 members, all with varying circumstances and levels of satisfaction. We have a group, who contribute to a legal fund, this is used for me to liaise with a lawyer, knowing that I have adequate financial backing, and he and I tackle problems with Tecnicil. Not everyone contributes to this, probably because some are happy with their position, but what we achieve will benefit every buyer.

At present I have the lawyers and accountants looking into Tecnicil's accounts, receipts and invoices. Tecnicil have to allow access to this information by law, we will either find wrong doing or not, or Tecnicil will refuse to give access. Should they refuse to give access, we have every right not to pay their fees until they do, or we shall dispose of them as a management company, quite simple.

Vila Verde is built, the only long term issue going forward is that of fair resort fees and how the resort is kept. All other issues such as non payment of rent, missing furniture etc, will be dealt with in the short term and will be resolved within a couple of years of ownership one way or another.

If Vila Verde is too big for you to buy on and join us, then don't worry about us. But if it's the uncertainty of resort fees that puts you off, it's not a subject that I'm concerned about in the long run, as we have much more clout than Tecnicil.

As when has helping people out, and giving them somewhere to voice their anger at a developer like Tecnicil, who just does whatever it likes, is a bad thing ? The reason why I set up that site, which is for ALL Developments on All Islands, is Most Forums have now CENCORED Owners from Speaking out against those developers. They say, It’s having a negative effect on the islands, ask Daniel ! Have I tried to draw people away from here to my site ?

If you look back in the forum history, you’ll find I was “helping” Sambala owners back in 2005 ! I had the information from Sambala from 2005, before a place in the sun hit the screen, and way before Villa Verde. Villa Verde took over with the volume of people buying so blindly and in most cases, not reading the contract or misinterpreting it, or it was not available to some !

Regarding your thoughts and the thoughts of your ‘paid’ Solicitor. Tecnicil Do NOT have to show you their Accounts without a Court Order, and only certain traits apply to obtaining one too. Could have saved a bit money there ! Further to this, as you say or are advised, you will refuse to pay the fees. The contract is clear what Tecnicil will do, should you do that, I’m surprised you haven’t read that ?

I also repeat, you can NOT get rid of Tecnicil ! Tecnicil are the Resort Owners, you are not the Land Owners…. You can get rid of the Management Company, …. BUT, The Management Company is not the cause of the high resort fees, Tecnicil are, so no matter who, if you have that free choice, or more likely Tecnicil put back in, with a choice to yourselves will make a difference to the resort fees.

The mails I still get say just that “ We should be acting as one” So don’t give me your all singing from the same page !!!!

If THEY don't know who's on the Board and where or what job he's going to do, you can see how they have bodged up everything they have done so far !

More so, it so how they can just create very well paid jobs for the boys, they YOU will be paying for !

I wouldn't say they've bodged everything, the development for a kick off is excellent. With Andy and the Owners Club Lawyer, i'm hopeful that some issues will be resolved, in time.

Technicil have now issues notice of cancellation of the contract and have said that they are now seizing property and keeping any deposits paid to people who are disputing their breach of contract.

ie. they breach their own contract, refuse to recognise the fact and then say they are keeping the £60K deposit as I am in breach !

Is this just me or is anyone else in the same situation.
