An economic group from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to invest 160 million euros in building a tourist on the Cape Verdean island of Sao Vicente, Cape Verde’s economy minister, José Brito said Monday in Mindelo. The investment, which will be named Cesaria Resort, will create over 3,000 jobs and, according to the minister, is a wide-ranging and important project for Cape Verde.
The Cesaria Resort, one of the most ambitious and most costly tourist investments in Cape Verde, is expected to start next June and will cover an area of over 1,000 hectares.
