A Trade delegation made up of business and economic agents from Spain's Canary Islands is in Cape Verde on a mission that will last until Fenruary 28th and will include the islands of Sal, Santiago and Sao Vincente.
The delegation is made up of 21 companies and entrepreneurs associated with the Las Palmas Chamber of Commerce and seven associated with the Tenerife Chamber of Commerce, as well as a number of other private-sector entities from the Canary Islands. | |
Among the delegation’s objectives are the study of business opportunities in Cape Verde, the establishment of partnerships resulting from previous contacts and simple business prospecting. Among the economic sectors represented in the delegation are the service sector, namely in the realm of engineering, as well as civil construction and the production and commercialization of various types of products.
Food services, construction materials, hotel management, agriculture, heavy machinery, residual water utilization, transportation, urbanization, real estate, investment promotion and management and sewage are some of the interests represented by the businessmen in the delegation. |
