17/01/07 - Additional Flights to Cape Verde from the UK PDF Print E-mail
ImageCape Verde Portal has received information from Astraeus Air confirming their intention to run an additional service to Cape Verde starting in May 2007.    Peter Cox from Astraeus commented  "We have seen a huge demand for the direct flights, well above our estimates and it has become clear that more seats are needed".  In addition to the existing weekly flights from Gatwick & Manchester to Sal,  Astraeus will run an additional Gatwick/Sal service on Thursdays from 1st Feb to 26th April inclusive.  BOA VISTA DIRECT???...... click on read more for details

 

Astraeus also intend to run an additional service every week (Tuesdays) from Gatwick to Sal commencing May 2007.  The hope is that this flight will stop at both Sal and Boa Vista. "It is our intention to fly to Sal and then on to Boa Vista" said Peter.  The Boa Vista airport has been modernised to international standards and meets the prerequisite AIP standards.  The Boa Vista leg of the journey is still to be confirmed and is awaiting Cape Verde government approval.
