Cell phone operator CV Móvel is launching a new pre-paid fee scale, Nôs Grilo, which promises “price reductions after the first minute,” according to an announcement made by the company, a part of the Cabo Verde Telecom group.

With the Nôs Grilo fee scheme, CV Móvel clients will pay 15 escudos every thirty seconds during the first minute of conversation, and 5 escudos every 30 seconds after the first minute, tax included.

Calls to other cell phone networks and to Cape Verdean land line phones will cost 22.5 escudos per 30 seconds for the first minute and 52.5 escudos per 30 seconds for international calls.

SMS will cost 10 escudos within the CV Móvel network and 17 escudos for messages sent to other networks.

Clients may switch to the Nôs Grilo fee scale free of charge by dialing 188 and choosing option 3.
