The director of the Millennium Challenge Account - Cape Verde (MCA-CV), Laurent Mehdi Brito, and Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde administrator António Moreira will sign an accord today, May 12, at the headquarters of the MCA-CV, for the management of a line of credit for agricultural affairs. The accord comes within the framework of the activities surrounding the Hydrographic Basin Management Project and the Agricultural Support Project.

The US$ 450,000 credit line is aimed at supporting farmers working in the zones of intervention of the MCA-CV’s agricultural projects in the acquisition of drip-irrigation equipment and the development of agribusiness with the intermediation of micro-credit institutions.
