According to one source, the meeting will not be a deliberative session, but rather with be used to reflect upon what measures could be taken to improve the business atmosphere in Cape Verde.

According to studies that have already been elaborated as a part of the state reform process, these measures could include making bureaucratic processes, such as the selection and approval of companies’ names and the registration and publication of their statutes in the Official Bulletin, less cumbersome and expensive

The initiative, be it a coincidence or not, comes just days after A Semana published a report on a World Bank study that affirmed that doing business in Cape Verde is still “very complicated.”
