08/11/06 - Portugal is country with most companies at 10th International Cape Verde Fair

Portugal is the country with the biggest number of companies signed up to take part in the 10th International Cape Verde Fair (FIC), to be held on November 15 and 16 in the archipelago’s capital, Praia, officials said. Of the 160 companies signed up for the fair, which will be held in the former Praia airport, Portugal will have 52 companies, with Cape Verde having 45 companies signed up.

The growing interest in the fair is apparent due to the number of companies that requested to take part far exceeding the 149 places made available.

After Portugal and Cape Verde, Brazil is the third most represented country at the fair with some 30 stands at FIC, followed by Spain, with 20 companies from the Canary Islands and Italy’s six companies.
