The PWA has chosen Sal, Cabo Verde for a specialist wave sailing event to challenge the top windsurfers in the world. Running from Feb 22nd to March 4th, the local boys of Cape Verde will show the world their ability to ride Ponta Preta, home to one of the most powerful and beautiful waves in the world.

are proud to sponsor Mitu, Djo and Titik, three of Cape Verde’s finest who will have the opportunity of a lifetime to windsurf alongside the top 32 in the world.

When not dreaming of riding waves in a world class event, the boys work at surf centres Surf Zone and CNS in Santa Maria as instructors. For those planning to be in Sal at this time make sure you come and watch the boys. dreams come true as they make their mark on the world wind surf tour.
