Cape Verde Island of Maio

TACV-CABO VERDE AIRLINES informs its clients, particularly those passengers traveling to and from the island of Maio, that flights to and from the island have been temporarily suspended beginning today and for an indefinite period of time, as a result of the closing of Maio airport by aeronautics authorities, making the use of the airport impossible.

Passengers holding tickets to or from Maio should contact TACV or their travel agency for additional information and/or the possible reimbursement of the price of the ticket.

Flights will be re-scheduled as soon as the airport is re-opened for commercial operations, which will be announced at the appropriate time.

TACV thanks its passengers for their understanding and cooperation.
