CVP questions to Sambala: We have noted so many of your comments that we want the Real Estate people for Sambala Village to update everyone with the progress. This is a long term project and investment and everyone should be fully aware that things do not happen overnight. There has been too much speculation and we feel it best if everyone just steps back a bit and wait for answers from them to the following questions, Hopefully, this will give comfort to all clients. We will keep you updated and we will post any answers in due course. Questions: 1. When will the infrastructure start? 2. When will the road be constructed? 3. When is electricity arriving? 4. How will water be provided to Sambala? What is the project timeline? 5. Is the target completion date finish for lst phase still December 2006? 6. When is work due to begin on Phase1? 7. Is the target date for Phase 2 on target? 8. If phase 3 release is now being prepared, what is the target finish date? 9. When are all 5 phases due to be completed? 10. How strong is the group who is financing the project? 11. When will the promised golf complex be started/finished? 12 Many people have made their first payment and some cheques have been cashed and others not. What is happening. SAMBALA Village Response (in our Forums) Hi Everyone, I am Dominic who works for Sambala Developments and wanted to post an update on progress for the village in an attempt to allay some of the confusion that understandably surrounds the projcet. As some of you may be aware, the land and developments are owned by the Grepne family who have had dealings in Cape Verde for more than the last 30 years. As you can imagine a lot has happened in Cape Verde over this period and it is pretty much universally accepted that there are very few better informed people on the subject of these wonderful islands than Jonathan himself. Joff has asked me to inform you all that even despite his wildest dreams, it was nigh impossible to predict the unprecedented levels of interest in Cape Verde and particularly the Sambala Village following various TV and other media coverage earlier this year. Inevitably, the lack of appropriate resource in place to respond to these unprecedented levels of enquiry, has led to frustration and confusion for existing Sambala customers as well as those wishing to purchase in forthcoming releases. In a way, our perceived lack of communication, for which we apologise, comes as a result of investing time in setting up key centralised administrative and customer service processes to ensure that all existing and future client interactions with Sambala are at the level that you and the company would expect when taking decsions regarding investments at these high levels. Our efforts in this area were also set back when Jonathans father Daniel passed away in February earlier this year. Having now taken care of all mandatory associated legacy issues, Jonathan is pleased to inform you all that the new Sambala UK offices will be opening in Oxfordshire within the next two weeks. The location will be home to new administrative and customer service personnel to satisfy client enquiries as well as provide a key location from which to co-ordinate all future client communications and overall strategic development for Sambala projects. It is without doubt that this is the start of an amazing and fantastic journey for all of us, one that Sambala Developments will determinedly deliver satisfaction upon. May I also let you know that there will be further announcemnets next week. With thanks, Dominic. |
