02/08/08 - Cape Verde airline to offer flights to the UK

Cape Verde national carrier TACV has announced it will begin flying to the United Kingdom and be operating flights from London. They will also increase its flights to Fortaleza in Brazil from November to cater for passengers from Europe flying through Sal international airport, company sources said. TACV will also increase its services to Europe and the United States. In addition to its current routes to Paris, Amsterdam and Munich, TACV will begin flying to Rome. From November, the airline’s Lisbon-Praia-Sal-Lisbon flights will become daily and TACV will also begin twice-weekly flights from Praia to Boston.
